You've been holding your breath for a long time.

You spend your life holding everyone else. For one week, put it all down.

Xhale · Seven nights on Gili Air, Indonesia · June 16 to 23, 2027

This is for you

You're the one who shows up every day, no matter what. The leader everyone leans on. The parent who never clocks out. The friend who always picks up the late night call. The one who holds the team together, then goes home and holds everyone else together too. You've learned to be twice as prepared, to shift how you show up depending on the room, and to hold it together in spaces that weren't built for you.

You're so used to carrying it all that you don't even notice the weight anymore. You just know you're tired in a way sleep doesn't fix.

When was the last time you took a real breath? The deep kind that reaches all the way down and lets your shoulders drop.

Finally, a place to exhale.

For anyone who carries it all and is ready to set it down. Come exactly as you are. You belong here.

Why Xhale, why now

When was the last time you went somewhere just to be?

Not a work trip. Not a vacation you end up planning for everyone else. Seven nights on a small island with no cars, where the only thing on your list is you.

Step out

Put it all down

For one week, nobody needs anything from you. No one to feed, no inbox to answer, no one to check on.

Breathe

Come back to your body

Daily breathwork, yoga, and sound healing, the ocean, real rest, and laughter you forgot you had in you.

Carry it home

Keep your exhale

You go home with a simple practice, a gentle plan for the week you land, and people you can call. The calm doesn't have to end at the airport.

Every day

Every day is a little different. Here's what you can always count on.

MorningBreakfastA slow breakfast every morning, after practice or instead of it.
MiddayLunch and time to yourselfLunch at a local spot nearby, then an afternoon that's mostly yours. Nap, swim, the spa, a book.
Somewhere in the dayA moment togetherA practice, a session, or a circle. Always an invitation, never a requirement.
EveningDinnerSome nights all together, some nights exploring the island. Good food, good company, and early nights welcome.

Seven nights, one gentle arc

The week

Every day starts with a gentle practice, holds one or two moments together, and leaves plenty of space for you. Tap a day to picture yourself there.

Day 1 · Arrive

Threshold

The day you finally put it down.

There are no cars on Gili Air. Tonight the loudest thing you'll hear is the water.

  1. Midday

The boat from Bali carries you across the water. Somewhere between the harbor and the island, your shoulders start to drop.

  2. Afternoon

Bare feet on the sand. A cool drink, a welcome gift, and your bungalow. Unpack, or don't. Nap, swim, wander.

    Free time
  3. Welcome gift

Your own Xhale journal, waiting in your room. You'll use it all week, and take it home.

  4. Sunset

Our opening circle with Jess and Aleisha as the light goes gold. A gentle ritual to set down what you carried here, so you don't have to hold it all week.

    Included
  5. Evening

Our first dinner together. No introductions you have to perform. Just faces you'll know by the end of the week.

    Included

Included part of the week, always yours to join or skip Optional say yes if it calls you Free time yours, no plans

Every session is an invitation. Join, watch, or rest. Small details may shift as we finalize the week.

Experiences

What you could say yes to

Xhale is rest, and it's also an invitation. Some days you'll sink into a hammock and do nothing at all. Others, you'll find a little café on a bike ride, snorkel with sea turtles, and share a long dinner with people who already feel like old friends. You'll come home rested, and more alive.

Included

Yoga

Gentle, grounding movement with Jess, steps from the water. Every body, every level.

Included

Breathwork

Simple breath practices that help your nervous system finally settle. No experience needed.

Included

Sound bath

Lie back under the stars and let the sound do the work.

Included

Island hopping and snorkeling

A day on the water with Pink Boat Tours. Clear water, bright coral, and sea turtles if we're lucky.

Included

A 60 minute massage

A massage for every guest at the resort spa, at the center of our bungalows.

Included

Opening and closing ceremonies

We begin by setting down what you carried here, and close by honoring who you've become.

Included

Workshops with Aleisha

Lighten the load, Cultivating gratitude, and your recharge map: simple tools you'll actually use at home.

Included

Welcome and celebration dinners

Two dinners together, the night we arrive and the night we celebrate, with drinks on us that last night.

Optional

Sunrise bike ride

An easy ride around the island on sandy paths. Small enough to circle in a morning.

Optional

Gili T sunset

Stay on Gili Trawangan for its famous sunset, for a small extra cost.

Optional

Beach dance party

Dance like nobody needs anything from you, because tonight nobody does.

Add on

Balance coaching with Aleisha

A private 30 or 60 minute walk on the beach about bringing more balance home. Booked ahead.

More island experiences, like a cooking class and paddleboard yoga, are on the way as we confirm them.

How we hold you

The space we hold for you

Nothing about this week is by accident. The setting, the rhythm of each day, the size of the group, and the way we gather are all chosen with care, to create a space that holds you so you can finally put everything down. No explaining. No performing. Just room to be exactly who you are.

Everything is an invitation

Join in, sit one out, or rest. You never have to explain your no.

We carry the details

Transfers, meals, the plan for each day. This week, that's on us.

No breakthrough required

Quiet days, laughter, and tears all count. Come as you are, not healed or put together.

You already belong

You don't earn your place by sharing or performing. You're welcome exactly as you arrive.

Founder, Jess Breathe & Flow

Jess is the founder of Jess Breathe & Flow, where she leads yoga, breathwork, sound healing, and healing circles for people who are tired of holding it all together. She knows what it feels like to walk into a room and feel the need to become smaller, so she builds spaces where you never have to.

She has been holding healing circles in community for more than five years, and her approach is what she calls scientifically soulful: grounded in how the nervous system actually settles, and full of warmth. Her graduate research looked at the hidden labor of leaders who hold everything together, and that understanding shapes every practice she leads.

"I am not interested in wellness that asks you to assimilate. I am interested in the kind that asks you to come home."

What Jess brings to Xhale

  • Breath and body. Daily yoga, breathwork, and sound healing that help your nervous system finally settle, at any level.
  • Circles that hold you. Five years of leading healing circles where you can be fully seen without performing.
  • Scientifically soulful. Practices rooted in how bodies heal, delivered with warmth and care.
  • Room to come home. You arrive exactly as you are, with nothing to explain or translate.

Founder, Build the Balance

Aleisha is the founder of Build the Balance and has spent 25 years learning how structure, operations, and people work together. Since 2014, she has helped people figure out how to make their lives work better: finding and focusing on what really matters, and building the structure and resources they need for the life they want to live. A certified health coach, she starts from one belief: structure should serve the human, not the other way around.

Aleisha has spent much of her career in wellness and people focused work, and she brings that into every conversation. Her sessions are experiential, not lectures. She helps you understand what needs to change and how to make it happen, so your days actually feel and work differently long after you land.

"I see the whole person, not just the to do list."

What Aleisha brings to Xhale

  • Lighten the load. A workshop on what you're carrying, what you can set down, and how to ask for what you need.
  • Your recharge map. Discover what truly fills you back up, and how to fit it into an ordinary week.
  • Gentle structure for real life. A simple plan for the week you get home, so your exhale comes with you.
  • Every detail handled. 25 years of operations and event design behind the scenes, so you never think about logistics.

A note from us

We made Xhale because we know this feeling. We've both been the one holding it all together, and we've seen how much changes when people finally get a week to put it down, together.

We'd love for you to be part of the first one.

Questions

What people ask

Who is Xhale for?

Anyone who carries a lot and is ready to set it down. Wherever you come from and whatever you're carrying, you're welcome here, exactly as you are.

Do I need yoga or breathwork experience?

No. Every practice works for every body and every level, and every session is optional.

Can I come on my own?

Yes. Most people do. The group is small, and you'll know everyone by the second day.

How active is the week?

As active as you want it to be. Snorkeling and biking are there if you want them, and so are naps.

How much time off will I need?

Plan on about 10 days. The retreat is seven nights, and the flight from the US to Bali takes about a day each way. Many people add a night in Bali to rest before the boat.

Can I bring a friend or partner?

Yes. Xhale is open to people of all genders, and coming with someone you love is welcome. Shared bungalows are a good fit for two, at $2,400 per person.

Is it safe? What is the island like?

Gili Air is a small, friendly, walkable island with no cars, popular with travelers who want a quiet stay. We have a trusted contact on the island, the resort has a doctor on call around the clock, and the bungalows, gardens, and spa are reserved just for our group.

What about food needs, accessibility, or health?

Tell us what you need when you reserve, and we'll plan around it. The island has sandy paths and no cars, so getting around means walking, biking, or a horse cart. If that's a concern, ask us and we'll talk it through.

Will I have wifi?

Yes. There's free wifi in your room and around the resort. We'll gently invite you to unplug, but nothing is required.

How do I get there?

Fly into Bali (Denpasar). Your airport and harbor transfers and the fast boat to Gili Air are included. Your passport should be valid for at least six months after travel. We'll send a full travel guide when you reserve.

What if I need to cancel?

Your $500 deposit is non refundable. If you cancel 90 or more days before the retreat, we refund everything beyond the deposit. Between 60 and 89 days, we refund half. Under 60 days, payments are non refundable. You can also transfer your place to someone else. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
